I am Seaside, California
I’ve not always been the safest place
But you see my glowing potential
My sidewalks are seeped in the souls of the world
More than any other Peninsula city, I truly welcome all
And your soul makes me so much closer to perfection
Energy blows in the clouds that spin in from the bay
A sun belt spills warmth across Broadway and over Fremont
Just like your exuberance, your smile, your vision
I am reborn in the sun and the brightness you emit
Seaside is home to jejunity, young families, young ideas
May they prosper here
As you will blossom
It’s you, a grateful resident, that tip the scales toward success
It’s you who bring Seaside eternal spring
Seaside welcomes Natalia Molina (for her birthday)

Such a beautiful poem Seaside wrote for Natalia. I wonder if other cities can write as well as Seaside. I wonder if other cities appreciate their residents as much as Seaside love Natalia.
They totally don’t. They totally can’t. Sand City maybe…
Absolutely positively definitely not any other city. Maybe Pacific Grove.
There is no possible way, ever, at all. Except maybe Del Rey Oaks.
I’m in total agreement. There couldn’t possibly be any other place on the planet. Anywhere. Out of the whole planet. Possibly Marina.
Statistical impossibility. Mathematically doesn’t work. Perhaps Salinas.
I just checked in with a psychic who agrees with us on all counts. She said poooosssibly Watsonville.
It’s gospel. Written in stone. Simply cannot be. Except maybe Carmel.
Oh yes, yes. And did you hear the news? The supreme court made the final judgment, and all nine, including one from the great beyond, are in absolute agreement. There were some murmurings, possibly Prunedale.
There can be only one. Or only none. Except add Monterey.
Okay, you win! Game’s over except for San Luis Obispo.:)
Best game ever.
