Weekend in Pictures

And I managed to stay fairly clean despite my best efforts.. Did get some on my slippers, however.
The laundry room is slowly turning blue and white. Not bad for a Sunday.
No roller involved. Only the brush.
Saturday afternoon we visited Sand City’s West End celebration. Saw art. Ate pizza. Bought a comic from the awesome Bridget Spicer.
Saturday morning went for breakfast in Santa Cruz and visited Bookshop Santa Cruz where I got a few treats.
Spent some time enjoying my old Marvel Comics Tarzan set, which I am in the process of collecting. Up to issue $25, then I may try the DC Comics Tarzan series. All from the 70s era. Read a bit Sunday, because I forgot it was National Go Topless Day I suppose.
Got in a bit of Pokemon Go while having Sunday coffee with the pups. They were glad to see me rid the house of that Rhyhorn.
We played a bit of cards, because winter is coming.

    Looks like an eventful weekend. I miss breakfast in Santa Cruz at Cliff Cafe, my all-time favorite tofu scramble in the entire universe. If I”m repeating myself, that’s because it’s worth repeating. Best tofu scramble in the universe. The entire universe. Totally worth repeating. Repeating.

      We tried to go to Walnut Ave Cafe but the wait was too long and I’m curmudgeony. So we went to another place and the food was awesome! But I can’t remember the name. I don’t think I even looked at the name! I never looked. Never.

        Weekends can be tough for breakie in SC. Do you remember where the place was in case you want to eat there again one day? That sounds like something I would do: aimlessly find my way into a great food establishment and never ever never look at the name.

        That’s exactly what I did. But I do remember how to get there! And they had awesome scones. They were awesome because I am not a scone guy and I liked these. They were free too!

        Free scones? Free IS awesome. Was all their food free? Because if all their food was free, then I’d drive 6 hours to eat breakfast there.

        Only the scones! But they bring them to the table while you wait to have your order taken. It’s like a pre-meal meal, which made me fall totally in love.

        Like a breakfast appetizer? Still, not sure I’ll make the trip down there now. I was hoping the entire breakfast would be free. ;)

        I would pretty much live there if it was all free! Maybe good that it isn’t since they probably don’t have a shower.
